In 2019, a total of 371 ClassNK ships reported 394 detention times in PSC inspection. By the end of December 2019, a total of 8501 ships with more than 500 gross tons have been classified into ClassNK, with an annual detention rate of about 4.6%

   The report also released a number of port state inspection statistics, including China's port state inspection data.

   In 2019, the detention defects found in PSC inspection of Chinese ports will increase significantly. In the past three years, there are defects of demurrage of individual vessels.
