On the morning of September 5, the ore terminal of the West Port Area of Yantai port in Shandong province welcomed the 400000 DWT ore carrier "nebirina". The ship is 361m long and 65m wide. It carries 385600 tons of iron ore from vale of Brazil and has a full draft of 23m. It has become the deepest draught ship in Yantai port.

In June this year, Yantai port, Shandong Port, was officially granted the berthing qualification of 400000 DWT ship type, which greatly improved the service capacity of the port. Since the 400000 DWT wharf of Yantai port was officially put into operation and unloaded the first 400000 DWT ore carrier on August 6, three valemax ore ships have been successively unloaded in one month, with a total discharge volume of 1.164 million tons, showing a significant increase. The loading and unloading of 400000 class ore ships is becoming more and more normalized. The quality and efficiency of iron ore loading and unloading and mixing have been improved simultaneously. The brand of iron ore loading and unloading has been unanimously recognized by customers.
