As a key product of new ocean shipbuilding, the new generation crown 63500 ton bulk carrier complies with the trend of environmental protection, energy conservation and high energy efficiency, meets the requirements of IMO ship energy efficiency design index EEDI phase III, obtains the "green passport" environmental protection certification, applies the environmental protection concept to the whole life cycle from construction to disassembly, and has successfully delivered 74 ships.
The 59990 ton domestic trade ship delivered on the same day is the second similar ship built by new ocean shipbuilding for Hunan Shunda International Logistics Co., Ltd. As a new ship type optimized and designed for domestic customers, new ocean shipbuilding has the advantages of high cargo capacity, shallow draft, low fuel consumption and good slewing maneuverability. In recent years, in the face of the continuous increase of domestic shipping market development space, Sumida has made great efforts to expand the domestic trade ship market: by using the advantages of Shanghai R & D center, it focuses on developing coastal and Yangtze River domestic bulk carrier markets, and has successfully signed three domestic bulk carrier orders of 51000 tons, 60000 tons and 75000 tons. Since 2020, new ocean shipbuilding has signed a total of 17 new orders. According to Clarkson statistics, new ocean's newly signed orders from January to July this year ranked ninth in the world.
